Responsible for developing, implementing and managing the efficiency and effectiveness of the revenue cycle operations. This includes activities in pre-registration, admission, registration, coding, billing and collection. This position will work closely with Patient Access, Health Information Management and Case Management to apply new and emerging approaches to Revenue Cycle business processes.
Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration or related field.
Equivalent work experience may substitute degree requirement.
Previous supervisor experience preferred.
Minimum of three to five (3-5) years hospital revenue cycle experience is required.
Must have skills necessary to operate the office equipment required to fulfill.
Computer knowledge required.
Good communication and people skills essential.
Ability to responds to telephone and on-site inquiries from patient/insurance companies in a courteous, timely and informative manner.
Must be able to work independently with minimal supervision.
