Performs multiple vascular and intervention procedures under the direction of
radiologists and specialized physicians, including both operation of special
radiographic equipment and sterile field assistance during procedures. The staff
member can expect to care for adult patients, including the older adult through
geriatric and pediatric patients from 1 month through adolescence. The attached
criteria based performance evaluation provides a specific set of standards as
they relate to age specific competency.
•High school graduate or equivalent
•At least One (1) year experience specific in operating room
•Graduate of an AMA – approved school of Radiologic Technology
•Registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists or registry
eligible
•Licensed by the Texas Department of Health as a Medical Radiologic Technologist
– General License
•Current BLS certification
•Must be able to participate in Departmental Call Rotation
